I
made these helmets or headdresses to express my state of mind. The
first, with coils of wooden beads and a rock garden, expresses my state
of inner turmoil. The second headdress is made of all sorts of dead
plants I happened across. I used echinacea, cabbage, and lots of weeds.
The purpose of this headdress was to show that I've organized my
fantasies into one complete thought. The last helmet holds a living
flower. My thoughts have bloomed into a plan...
